Due to limited booth space availability, vendors must prepay to reserve the market days they wish to participate.
All payments made to Sunset Farmers Markets are non-refundable.
Farmers required to obtain a Utah Department of Agriculture and Food registration certificate must provide Sunset Farmers Markets with a copy and display it at their booth.

Unprocessed whole fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, herbs, potted plants, and flowers must be sold by the original grower.
Processed Items: “Cut leafy greens” are leafy greens whose leaves have been cut, shredded, sliced, chopped, torn, or any other process applied (spun, washed, and packaged ready to eat) beyond normal harvesting practices. These greens require registration and inspection by the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food. They are considered a time—and temperature-sensitive food and require refrigeration.

Egg farmers are exempt from registration and prior approval from the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food as long as the farmer owns the chickens that produce the eggs. A vendor may not resell another farmer’s eggs.

If the Vendor is sampling food, they must have their own hand-washing station.
The hand-washing station should include a container with a spigot that delivers a continuous flow of warm water, soap, paper towels, and a bucket for collecting dirty water. Always use disposable gloves or utensils when handling ready-to-eat foods.
Dispose of wastewater (from hand washing, dishwashing, food preparation, ice drainage, etc.) only in a sanitary sewer (e.g., toilet, or mop sink). Do not pour wastewater down storm drains or allow it to run onto the ground.
